Hello all.

Looking to do this quite soon.

Can anyone suggest what gap I should leave at the edging?

Cheers.

6mm or 1/4" is nowadays typical for an expansion gap.

This is written on the packaging. If you dont know this, maybe you should post further information about the conservatory sub-floor etc?

Cheers Ree.

The laminate will be going onto tile.

I'd be insulating with a membrane and underlay.

Thanks.

I'll try and help:

You have a concrete slab?

The slab has a membrane under the concrete?

You have ceramic/quarry floor tile on the slab surface?

You intend to lay a membrane - (sheet or painted on?) - and some laminate underlayment on top of the tile?
