Hi all,

Recently laid some (expensive) LOC laminate flooring but its coming up at some of the joins (in the middle of the room! ).

Can anyone suggest anything other than ripping it all up :(

Cheers.

yeh theres an expansion gap all the way round. no heavy furniture.

there boards are "lifting" or coming apart at the joins in the middle of the room.

Is there a solution at all to it?

it's a concrete floor with old carpet tiles on top of that, but i laid fibre board on top of that (roughly 12mm thick from memory)

you should of lifted the carpet tiles up first. if the laminte is separeting from the mdf on the board its being caused by water

Oh dear.

Few things - the pack said the laminate was water resistant etc. It's really thick laminate. Unless it's water ingress from underneath

Why is it a bad thing that the carpet tiles were left down ? I thought it would help with insulation etc?

Finally, is there ANY solution other than ripping the entire flooring up? Is there anyway to repair it / or just get 1 board out ?
