Hi,
I am about to lay laminate flooring in a bedroom, is it OK to use the white style polysterene underlay rather than green tile type. I don't want to raise the height of the floor too much. I know the tiles are normally used for floorboards and the white underlay for concrete floors but is there any reason not to use the white underlay on chipboard flooring, apart from maybe the sound insulation issue.
Cheers for any advice
Phil
