Had a room laminated which has a step leading down to a split-level lounge area.
It looks great apart from a problem with the edging on the step:
builder struggled to find anything matching to finish this edge (there is matching beading everywhere else) so put an l-shaped piece nosing across.
I didn't mind the colour different so much as I could stain that but it is quite proud of the floor and we kept catching toes on it - and now a child managed to catch it hard enough to kick it off one area.
Any advice on how to finish this step off nicely - with low-profile ideally rounded piece?
how it looks - the bottom step is carpeted but the "wall" of the top one is matching laminate down:
