I am about to fit some laminate flooring which is tile effect, 4 tiles per board. I am unsure weather i should find the center of the room and work out from there(give even size tile at each wall) or like you would normally start in the corner of the room.

Any ideas on the best way.

Cheers

personally i`d start in the corner and work across, then the off cut from the last row begins your next row, this is the best way to reduce so much waste, but if your room isn`t square, which most aren`t, you may end up with odd joints and may need to compensate for this, meaning every other row the join should be in the same place, i wasn`t bothered by this really and just used the off cut without compensating, however the missus was not to pleased, and now calls it the room on the wonk
