Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone could help me here. I own a Childrens nursery and we've had table built where we change the babies nappies. It was made by the joiner as it sits in a alcove so I'm not able to go and buy one similar off the shelf to replace. It is currently made of wood but needs to be made wipeable.
It has been painted over however due to the cleaning fluids we need to use to ensure cleanliness it has blistered the paint of and its starting to look a mess.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a covering for the wood, maybe something similar thats used on kitchen worktops. It needs to be able to be washable with cleanig fluid like anti-bacterial sprays etc.

Any help would be great.

Thanks
Paul

Replace the top with kitchen worktop? or add laminate [but would require removal to do correctly].

What is the name of the laminate that I could use. I'm would be looking for something flexible that could go over rounded edges. I've heard of Formica but I'm not sure it this could be fitted over rounded edges with specialist tools.

Is there a washable film of some sort that could be used.
