I havent heard of hybrids till now, seems like a really good idea on paper.

Oh, hell, no.

Hybrids are not nearly as good as you might think, and Seagate hybrids have a history. Of being fatally bad. More RAM is more useful than a hybrid.

That`s a shame, I`m maxed out on RAM but will need more storage soon, I was looking forward to trying one of those.
