A bit generic and ambiguous from me, sorry.

By site drain, I meant a large concrete ring structure with a reducing biscuit and lid - usually dealing with large volumes - i.e. 'site drain'.

It may be storm (rainwater) but its deffo not a soakaway.

You need to find out why it’s filling up and where the water is going.

As Noseall says it could be part of a storm drain system and connected to other houses or roads….that’s a major problem

Or it could just be a single tank connected only to your house….that’s an irritation

Probably where the water levels are presently, especially if it discharges into a swollen river.
