i have a very small lawn i need some advice could i use a trimmer to cut the lawn rather than a lawn mower do not want to go to great expense . i bought lawn mower last year i had to give it away because of lack of space i usually shop at agos are the push lawn mowers any good .even those are expensive have never used a trimmer before they look very scary.any help or advice will be greatly appriciated please help/

unless you have a large stick, you cant beat a lawn mower. cuts evenly collects cuttings, ones with rollers can leave stripes.
how about a small shed to keep it in?

1) borrow the lawn mower back from the lucky recipients
2) buy the trimmer/strimmer cus they really aint that scary, specially a small electric one.
3) cut grass with scissors whilst child or friend(a) blows it into a bag carried by child or friend(b)
4) dig it all up and have gravel on top of weed suppressant fabric.

was very lucky gotl lawn all sorted was on my way to argos to buy a garass trimmer before i got there bumped into an old friend she had one she did not want and its a good one she also gave me her lawnmower she bought a new one
