laying paving on concrete slab

I am thinking of laying paving on to a concrete slab,is this ok or will the paving crack due to the concrete expanding .The slab is 3mts x 3mts.

Providing there isn't any movement in the concrete slab then you should be okay, do a solid mortar bedding
