LCD TV & HDMI DVD What cable do i need???????

Hi all,

Hope someone can help here.

I;ve just bought a 32" LCD HD ready TV. It had 2 HDMI inputs. I've also bought a HDMI DVD player. Now all i need to know what is the best way to connect the two for the best picture and sound. If i use a HDMI cable does this transmit sound or only picture?? Do I have to use phono jacks from the DVD player into the TV??? If so do they just plug into the back of the tv as i though they were for out going sound???

CAn any one please help?????

HDMI is designed to carry both video & audio so you don't need any other connections.

Well, I have 4 of the cable below, which isn't expensive, and works flawlessly at 1080p (the highest full hd resolution)...

It's cheap & works perfectly, so cant think of any reason not to recommend it!
