Building an Edwardian conservatory and not sure how to flash into pebbledash (pd). The run is half brick and half pd. I am OK with brick, stepping small sections of lead following the course of the rafter but what happens when I get to the pd? I think I have several options:
Should I expose the brick and follow the same pattern, replacing pd down to either the top of the lead or the bottom of the lead or;
Should I cut a groove into the pd and feed the lead flashing into the groove?
I would appreciate any views and comments.

Cut the groove into the pebbledash and lead flashing into the wall the normal way, then cut the pebbledash above the lead flashing approx 2" then fix a Angle Bead Galvanised Render Stop over the lead flashing and make goods with pebbledash.
