Im currently leading a conservatory roof into an old random stone wall with a thin coat of render.
Its proving to be difficult to get the lead to sit evenly into the stone and morter.
Ive got about 50% fixed into the stone - can you see any problems if i used lead mate to bond the floating sections i cant fix, and then run a 50mm render bead over the entire lead joint to the wall and blend that into the render above. (did that make sense? )
The roof will be sealed under the lead as a precation.
Any other ideas how to tackle this?
