I have solved my leaking cistern at last. Thought it were coming down the bolt threads that attach the cistern to the pan cos they go all the way thru the cistern BUT....
Stripped out cistern and put it in shed on a couple of paint tins.....water is coming from the flush mechanism seal, it was then running along the cistern top and then onto the bolt and down the threads. I have used vaseline and plumbers mait to beef up the seal and currently it is in the shed and bone dry....hope its ok tomorrow and I'll put it back home on the pan...Yippeeee
