Hi

The copper pipe at the end of the flexi hose is coming from my boiling tap overflow. Its a loose fit and will leak when water in overflow.

How do I seal it inside the plastic reducer (assuming thats what its called)

Second (or third) bodge job on a boiling water tap in recent days?

Where does the waste run to out of picture? Need to be careful discharge from elsewhere cant run back up that pipe and block it.

Hi

That connection works great.

But I am a little concerned about the pipes. Firstly, as Hugh suggested, it could be blocked by other waste. I have since made the new connection at the top of the pipe for now (not shown above), but its not in use yet anyway.

And Im sure you will have something to say about this...

This photo was taken from underneath so it might not be clear but the part where the new connection goes into is actually higher than the waste outlet. This will surely make this part act as part of the trap, and it will mean that the pipework before the trap that connects the wastes of the two sinks will also have water standing in it.

Anything from the arrow need to have a fall on it but yours runs up

You could cut at these 2 points to raise it but i’m not sure that is enough to get it upto the outlet through the back of your unit

I would fit a washing machine trap directly onto each sink waste so you can do away with the vertical T piece and gain some fall.
