Our black plastic down-pipe has moss growing from three leaking areas near the joints.

Please advise the likely causes and how it should be repaired.

I have added a photo of each of the 3 joints.

Many thanks.

3rd pic looks like joint is upside down? Otherwise, downpipe joints shouldn't leak, water is under no pressure in the pipe under normal circumstances. My guess is pipe is blocked, water is building up inside and leaking. Dismantle pipes, clean out and remove any blockages internally. Externally, remove moss etc, reassemble (with joints right way round), this should solve the issue.

Left unchecked you risk damp walls, possible penetrating damp and more moss build up on pipes and wall.
