I have a leak in some guttering where it joins. Problem is mainly that I cannot access it by ladder to get a good look, can only hang over a flat roof three storeys up. From my window, it looks as though a clip has come off. The two bits of guttering overlap. Can anyone tell me if I have to replace the whole bracket, and if so what to ask for - one bracket I did buy just doesn't look right. Thanks in advance.

well if you cant get to it by ladder then,i think your stuffed in trying to fix this yourself.
but it may be as simple as getting upthere drying out the guttering and taking a looksie to see if any crud has built up and maybe using some silicone on the joint to stop it leaking.
