leaking pipe

hello..i hope someone can help me.
ive had a new combi boiler fitted.its working great.but ive noticed ive now got a small leak under my kitchen sink in the hot water pipe feeding the hot water tap.is it ok just to turn the main water tap off and repair the leak? or is it more complicated now ive got the combi.?
please help im getting tired of emptying this pan!!

and while you're doing it would it be worth fitting some isolation valves to the pipes to ypur kitchen sink???
