I posted a query yesterday to see if anyone knew how to fix my radiator that had gone off, anyhow tried a few of the suggestions (balancing rads) and my heating sounded like it was going to explode. I rang a plumber friend who said it sounded like it was locking out (whatever that means) and he's going to come and have a look at it. I have since noticed that one of the downstairs carpets has water dripping from one end at the top near a bolty thing in end of rad (technical eh??), not much is dripping but i think it may have been doing it for a while, could this have caused my upstairs rad to go cold and if so how eaasy is it to fix, help me coz im starting to loose my marbles
