Leaking roof, this quote sound ok ?

Hi,

Due to all the rain noticed dripping in the room. Traced it and found it coming from the chimney area.

Today a roofer came to get a quote and he showed me pictures. Seems that the motar between the bricks and flashing, there is a gap. So he plans to get it all out and the put new motar in. Pretty much all round the chimney breast so about 3 meters at the most ?

Since here he will also clean out all the guttering.

Quoted me £200.

Yup everything.

He said most of the cost is labour really. Which I guess is fair enough.

Sounds better than someone I know who was just charged 350 for someone to spray some kind of sealant on a leaking tile! No surprise after 3 visits it still leaks!
