Hi everyone I just wanted some help with my vokera unica 28he. I've noticed the last couple of days its been dripping water on the worktop. I've taken some pictures and hoping you could identify the part that's leaking and if it needs replacing or is it just a seal or something gone where the pipe comes out? It leaking from where the pipe comes out of the black plastic part which is directly under the pump.
Thanks

ok thanks. So is this quite common for them to just start leaking tho? I was just wondering does the diverter definitely need changing or is it possible its just a seal or something needs tightening do you think?

You will need to replace the cartridge. The part number for the one you have is 10025305. I would do it ASAP. If water seeps into the motor it will short the boiler and you might also need to replace the motor.

Cartridge alone 20043954
Actuator 20024841

I think you'll only need the cartridge if the motor is OK, around £35 I think.
It's the O rings on the spindle; don't mess about, change the whole thing.

The retaining pin that holds the motor on (second picture)is also the key to unlock the cartridge. It fits into two slots on the cartridge head once the motor is removed. Turn the cartridge anti-clockwise with the pin till it stops and then pull it out.

All this after isolating the boiler and draining it or draining the whole system.

Straightforward but I'd prefer you to get an engineer to do it for you. Your call.

Go with number VC gave you.
I must have given you the old one.

ok thanks i have done quite a bit in the past on my old boiler which was a combi. Things like thermostats secondary heat exchanger so hopefully i will be ok its just this is the first time this one has gone wrong.

Once i have isolated the boiler what is the best way to empty it?

Thanks for all your help so far really appreciate it.

In a bag with the instructions should be two plastic tubes; fit one into the other and tape them together. The large one fits onto the drain off to the right of the pump the other end into a bowl.

ok thanks again I dont seem to have any tubes in with the manual I presume the fitter forgot to leave them I will have to try and buy some more.
Also when i search the part number you gave for the cartridge it doesnt come up with anything?

Get the serial number of the boiler from the data badge underneath and ring spares at Vokera, they'll confirm or give you the part number. I just looked and I have 20017597 now so something has gone wrong but ring Vokera to confirm
