Looks to me like it's cracked, just beyond the joint. Could wrap some waterproof tape round it, but for a permanent fix, I think the only option will be to cut out the damaged section and replace.

Might give that tape a go and see how long it lasts.
One thing I can't wrap my head around though: when you say cut out and replace, which parts? Will the elbow need replacing too? Everything is joined together with solvent cement aren't they?

Various ways you can do it.
Easiest and what I'd do is 2 x slip couplings, 1 x 135° elbow and a length of pipe.
Edit... Just seen it's 2 sizes so you'll need...
32mm slip coupling
Bit of 32mm pipe,
32-40mm reducer,
40mm 135° elbow,
Bit of 40mm pipe,
40mm slip coupling.
You make a normal coupling into a slip by filing out the ridge inside.
