I have just noticed that there is a small drip of water coming from the metal pipe which goes through the outside wall (the pipe which the wc fits in to). What is the easiest way to stop it leaking (short of replacing the whole pipe)?

first find out where its coming from - could well be running down from the cistern or the pan 's water entry arrangement. Is it close coupled?

Dab about with loo paper - preferably dark coloured, to find the wetness.

ChrisR,

Upon close inspection I have noticed that the metal pipe is lead. The hole is definitely coming from the lead pipe.

The unit is close coupled - it was recently changed out.
