Lean-to rafter span

What is the maximum rafter span available from the shops? Isit only 4.2m?

For my lean to shelter I need it to span around 7.5m. Is there a way to extend a rafter span safely, if no-one sells one that long?

7.5m is a big span.

Ive not seen span tables go that long and most merchants dont sell timber longer than around 6metres.

Glulam beams are available upto 13metres but the cost would be high

Can you not fit a purlin?

We can get timber lengths in excess of 7m. However you will not find a suitable timber to span your opening without a mid-span support.
