Electric vehicles are only of use if you have somewhere to charge them overnight. As you don't, an electric vehicle is a poor choice.○ The school I work at will have charging posts when its built in 2 - 3 years time.

Public charging is expensive and inconvenient if using it every day.
What a school may have installed in several years time isn't relevant today and even if they did exist now, they will be AC charging of the same type used overnight for charging - as in it will take several hours to add a modest amount of driving distance.
