Leaving wago connectors inside light fitting?

I'm fitting a wall light and the choco block it comes with is too small for me to fit my existing wiring. Am I okay to use wago connectors instead and leave them within the light fitting? (It's a wall light against a block wall so there is not enough of a cavity to squeeze in a junction box of any sort)

The light is double insulated, if that makes any difference.

Would this mean it's no longer double insulated? This is the junction box that comes with the light. So presumably if I don't use this then the light becomes class I?

Them silly things they supply are rubbish unless you have 1 cable.
Technically you are right, without it there will be just single insulation, most cases it would not be an issue and I quess often overlooked.
There is sometimes an option to actually earth the fitting and use your wagos

I don't have an earth wire going to the light unfortunately.

You've got 3 options.

1, enclose all the connections in the supplied crappy little connector block.

2, earth the fitting.

3, use a plastic light fitting.

I'm a bit confused, or maybe am 'missing something'. Although the body of the light does, indeed, bear a double-insulated' symbol, in what sense is the connector thingy on the right 'double insulated'? There appear to be exposed terminal screws that look as if they will only be covered by one layer of insulation when the cover is put on the thingy - or is this perhaps a "reinforced" case of "double or reinforced insulation"?

In the same sense that the blue and brown wires within the light fitting are double insulated. Printing a double box on a label is cheaper than providing an earth connection.

Mechanically add an earth point, trace the earth conductor on the supply and extend whilst maintaining continuity.

Think you may have that wrong somewhere. There must be a permanent live to the switch.
