Leaving wago connectors inside light fitting?

I don't have an earth wire going to the light unfortunately.

Here's a pic
I'd go as far as saying the fitting doesn't look like class 2 anyway. It looks to me as if they have added that woven sleeving to make it so but leaving the brown and blue uncovered if it is not reinforced does not comply.
Unsheathed T&E conductors within a metal fitting negates its class2 status.

I dare to say the MI instructions say to clamp any sheath into the junction box.

EDIT: This was written and sent between posts #6 & #7 but lost internet connexion so automatically sent when PC opened again.

...., in what sense is the connector thingy on the right 'double insulated'? There appear to be exposed terminal screws that look as if they will only be covered by one layer of insulation when the cover is put on the thingy - or is this perhaps a "reinforced" case of "double or reinforced insulation"?
In the same sense that the blue and brown wires within the light fitting are double insulated. Printing a double box on a label is cheaper than providing an earth connection.
I hadn't noticed that - so, despite the label, there are two reasons (four if one counts both Ls and both Ns!) why, despite the label, it does not actually appear to be 'double insulated'. Indeed, in the case of the blue and brown conductors you refer to, there isn't the possible 'explanation' of...

Edit: this was written whilst Sunray was typing and posting - but I'm glad he agrees with me!

Such a pleasant guy ;)

There must be some things which even you don't know how to do - so does that make you a "Useless Something", I wonder?
Pete and me have been buddies for a long time and it's called banter.

I've left you alone so you don't go crying again, but I can soon restart it.

Another photo as requested, nothing too exciting. (Marvel at my drylining)

You'll get them in wont you? It'll be tight but you'll do it.

Keep the black shroud on and make sure you cant see and red or black, and make sure the white box is closed, put a cable tie round it if need be.

Edit...the light fitting is rubbish you can see brown and blue anyway, throw it in the bin.

Fair enough, but I couldn't possibly know that. Although you've been a member of DIYnot for a little longer than me (14-15 years), I very rarely look at anything in DIYnot other than this Electrics forum and, until a couple of months ago, you'd only ever posted about 9 messages here in the preceding 14 years!.

Crying? ... and "restart" what? - a vendetta?
