Hi. After installing dimmable led bulbs in the kitchen the lights all started pulsing on & off ( in the kitchen ). I have been given at cef a new grid dimmer but it says maximum of 10 bulbs and i have 12.
Question 1. Will and how does the one i have been given fit in place of the existing one given the existing one fits directly in the frame and the new one is less then half the size with just a back nut.
Question 2. Do i need to get a more suitable module instead ?

Photos above of existing unit and replacement supplied.
Help appreciated

You have not bought (or been given) a grid switch but one that fits a normal face-plate with a hole in it.

Saying the number of bulbs is not a help; it depends on the wattage.

CEF are crap.

It’s expensive, but this is what you want.

It’s an LED dimmer module for grid plates and comes with 9 different faceplates to suit your gridplate - including your MK.

It only takes one module so you’ll have a bit more flexibility in the box

Why on earth do you want to dim lights in a kitchen? It is a work room and needs as much light as possible.
