LED or induction flood

I purchased an LED flood (40w) for the drive the other week. I have found the light to be ok but being an LED chip it tends to throw the light everywhere - 120 degrees i believe. Saw an induction flood light on ebay for £40 that had a 40w induction bulb. Would this be a better light and concentrate the light better than the LED which just throws it about.
The drive is about 20 foot by 16 foot.

i thought the light was instant on induction? There is no warm up is there? thanks
