Legalising cannabis

Another point worth repeating about tobacco is the tax gathered on legal sales help fund NHS treatment for a wide variety of problems, including those caused by smoking, is making cannabis legal would gather more revenue for a wider range of treatments in fufuture.

The majority of tax raised in Britain goes to foreign countries and to foreigners living in Britain.

I think the revenue is massively less than the costs it causes, it mitigates the damage to the economy but smoking is awful.

Probably - i don't have a spreadsheet in front of me. Medical trials are a more likely road to legalisation rather than any recreational purpose, and joyless (thc-removed) cannabis shows promise in that regard.

BEEN reading about the killing of Ian Huntley, and the previous, unsuccessful attempts at killing him by other prisoners. In 2005, Mark Hobson threw boiling water over Huntley. I looked up Hobson - he is in prison for life means life. I remembered Hobson's crimes; he was the most wanted man in Britain at one point, with a huge number of police searching for him, after a series of gruesome rapes, torturings and murders. Look at Hobson's story, he was a 'wonderful husband' until he started taking cannabis...

And binge drinking heavily. It wasn't a case of physchosis from cannabis as the psych eval cleared him.

And apparently began tokin' and a-topin' after he left his wife.

Still, details, old chap; merely details.

Amazing that he went to court for stabbing his ex girlfriends boyfriend 5 times in the chest in broad daylight in a shopping area in front of people and only received a community service order.. Just shows that nothing can be done for these drug infused nutjobs, giving him a chance was typical of our judicial system.
