letter

Same company that reads the postcode WF9 as WF19. An error that has caused us many, many missed and late deliveries.
You could write them a letter headed "Change of Address" and explaining what it ought to be corrected to.

They doubtless employ someone part of whose job is to change or correct addresses.

If you feel like it you could photocopy your letter and send a copy back with a copy of theirs every time you get a wrongly-addressed letter or delivery note.

If you don't tell them, how will they know?

Rearrange this collection of words

Head, brick, banging, wall, a, against.

The addres is kept on several databases, including the warehouses (delivery notes), head office (several systems here, for the departments that post our order books etc) and also the independant suppliers that send us consession products such as toys, hosiery and stamps (RM themselves).

To change all these things would be too much to ask. We have tried it before, to get addresses changed, and its simply not worth the hassle.

A brand new store, there is another existing store in the same locality, so rather than naming the new store after the locality, we tried to get it named after the street its on, to avoid any confusion between the two stores. It didn't work. Berks. Already, we have had a pocket PC swapped out, which was meant to be the other store, The other store has had a guy turn up to fit signage, when clearly they already had signage up!

A phone call to the store support helpdesk in Manchester. They "logged a call" and "gave us a reference #" ;) Nothing ever gets done though.
