Lifestyle LP241 CH/HW timer

I currently have LP241 timeswitch which controls CH and HW seperately. In a previous property I think I had almost exactly the same unit but it allowed me to have different timer settings for different days. I imagine it would be something like the LP722 unit.
My problem is ... How do I know if the cabling is the same for the two units?

Yes it is fine to pick up the other unit. There are 2 types where the dual channel are concerned. 1 is a 24 hour and the other a 7 day. It is quite simple to change the clock. Loosen the screw under the unit and it should pull away. As it has the same backplate for the 24 and 7 day you just need to put the new 1 in place and tighten the screw. Job done!!!!!!!!!
