My aunt called me last night about her Logic Combi 30. She said there was a light on the flue at the top that she'd not seen before.

I told her to switch the boiler off and I'd call across. I've been and switching the boiler on but cannot see any lights apart from the display. The water is heating when the hot tap is opened.

The attached is where she saw the light.

I don't think she saw any light on it and if you haven't seems logical that there is not one. Not something I have seen on our Logic's and been working on them for a number of years.

There is no light in the flue. What I have seen in the past is the sun being in exactly the correct position to shine down the length of the flue and illuminate the inside end of it. Like this:

Could that have been what she saw?
