Light socket - what's this called?

Damn stupid question is this, but as my searches for 'light socket' don't turn up what I expected, I'm trying to think of the right name .........

In a nutshell, what's the name of the socket that a light bulb fits into? (bayonet fitting type). In this case, a ceiling socket, ie a wire hangs down from the circular mounting point on the ceiling, and the socket for the bulb is on the end of that. I need to replace that socket (one of mine isn't making good contact with any bulbs that are used in it).
