Light switch faceplate screws too short

Greetings all,

I have several new light switches and plug sockets in a nice 'iridium black' colour (black polished chrome). The screws that came with the switches are not quite long enough to reach the boxes in the wall. I can find longer ones in zinc, but not in iridium black.... need 50mm at least.

I can't locate longer screws in the same colour - but have seen some extensions some years ago - which allow you to screw on the end to give additional length.

Does anyone know where I can find these - I have tried in numerous stores and I have visited all of the internet. (well most)...

Or another method....
