I have a 4m X 3m shed. The light is 5ft, 58w fluro with a diffuser.

It is mounted long ways, but I keep hitting my head on it (I'm 6ft 6)

So, I'm thinking about moving it to a long wall instead.

Anyone have a rough idea of how high would give me the best lighting... And if it's going to be sufficient anyway.

I'd rather not live ducking, but might have too?

I'm not being sarcastic, but it will depend on the shed.
Has it a pitched roof? Put light in the apex.
Is it a pent design? Put the light high up in the taller wall.

Slso depends on where yo need the light- the floor, or a work surface??
Surely it cannot be hard for you to decide.

It's a pent roof. The side I can use is the lower one, but not by much.

I can do it and pick eye height, but I thought might be some skill to it or way of working out best positioning.

It's a mini gym and storage
