Right I'll try again because all I've learnt from some idiot on here so far is that 1380w is enough and I don't need 2,2kw !!!

Can someone please explain why I can't upgrade MCB to 10a

I think you'll find that the real idiot is the one who is so completely ignorant that he has come up with a "design" which calls for that much power and is so utterly stupid that he does not see that his incompetence and ignorance should be a bar to him "designing" lighting installations.

You should kick him into touch right now - stop listening to him, as he does not have a clue what he is doing.

because most lighting items, ceiling roses, switches etc are rated at 6 amps so when a fault occurs and there is a high fault current one of those might "blow" before the MCB operates. Sometimes they don't blow but instead start to glow, red hot sometimes and then things nearby may catch fire.
