Lightsys 2 speakers...

Hi all,

My new house has a lightsys 2 system. Although there is one speaker connected, it is difficult to hear at the far end of the house, so I would like to connect another one.

The existing speaker is a standard 16 ohm job, and I can run a cable easily enough to the other part of the house, but I can't find out anywhere what the specification for speaker connections is.

Can anyone advise on the simplest way to connect a second speaker, can I use another identical 16 ohm speaker, or would I need to change to two 8 ohm speakers?

Depends if you have an expander where you could run a 16ohm from.

In general its 2 x 8ohm speakers or 1 x 1 ohm, would have to look at the data sheet for the panel speaker to get an exact specification but you shoulf be able to find a few online as so many panels use he same 16ohm speakers.
