House is a 1930s/40s semi. We are having our chimney repointed in the next few weeks. To get a rough idea of material cost I was wondering would we use normal cement or lime mortar? I have no idea of telling just looking at the brick work but hopefully a pro will be able to tell me going off the age of the house. Brick is old red brick. Very tough
