Hello all

Does anyone know how to get rid of water stains on red quarry tiles? The tiles are indoor and a ceramic plant pot had been left there far too long.

The tiles look grey dull and shabby but I want to keep them rather than have carpet over.

All help / ideas gratefully received :P

i have used acid brick cleaner before to clean up quarry tiles. i've not used it for your particularly reason but feel it's worth a go.

you can buy from builders merchants. just follow the instructions and take your time. it's not difficult to use but you do need to be careful as it is acid.

would try just a small area at a time using a plastic brush to apply and a cloth or mop to remove.

make sure you wear old clothes, kitchen rubber gloves and a must EYE protectors. keep a clean bucket/basin of fresh water handy to wash off any splashes.
