Link to posts in other threads

I've looked through the info but am unable to find how to link to a particular post in another thread, please can you show me how to and also will this allow a link to a post in a thread thats been locked?

its the method im having trouble with, i can link to the first post in the thread but i want to link to a post halfway down page 4

You can.

Does so in the FAQs for each topic.

Click the box at the top left of the required post ( it says "posted date and time and post subject). If you copy the properties it will link to it.

right clicking on that white icon and selecting properties just brings up link info to the gif?

Left click on it. This then brings up a page starting with the post you clicked on.

You then copy and paste the link in the address bar at the top of your screen.
