hi researching a new build.
i want to use solar water heating and an air source heat pump
i have my quote for underfloor heating under screeded floor.
i just need to know what gear i need to make it all work together in perfect harmony.

i assume a twin coil unvented cylinder?
how does it all connect together though, anybody got any good diagrams so i can get my head round it?


also going to whack some solar pv's on roof too to boost the power.

I would use a thermal store every time with under floor heating and solar.
Then solar will also contribute to heating and not just DHW

ok, so what do i need for that.

the solar thermal panel heats a seperate tank, which is then linked to original tank which is twin coil?

you only need one tank. Speak to someone like DPS tell them what heat sources you will be having and what its supplying and they'll spec something for you.
