Can someone tell me why all the wires in the ceiling rose are now live and the light will not go on

Weren't they live before when the light did go on?
There may well be permanently live wires in the ceiling rose.
Is the switch working? Is it an ordinary switch, or a dimmer.

Yes, if you can are willing elaborate on what if anything has changed prior to this event happening and by what means did you prove all the wires were live, did you test across neutral and CPC/earth with an approved voltage indicator?
