The PTSD is interesting, if he was with the Marines 1990- 1994 he would probably have missed the Gulf war as they weren't deployed ashore. They mostly weren't needed in Bosnia until 1995. It's possible that they messed him up, even in peace time the military can break you, but he didn't get out through the **** storm of the second gulf war or Afghanistan.
