lock but no key

Windows or doors (or both) ?.

Windows...
They're the ones that you press the button in to lock... and 3 of them are now locked thanks to the plumber we had in recently to do our central heating!
DE21 postcode.
I was going to pop into a place in Castle Donnington that's a distributor for Roto stuff, and see if they can supply replacement keys.....

It's possible the locking mechanism is ROTO, but the locking handle is another make. If you can, take a look under the handles to see if you can see any other markings. Alternatively, if you have a window that opens, take the handle off this and take it to the ROTO outlet to see if they will supply spare keys (doesn't hurt to ask). Also try your neighbours - if they also have double glazing. Once you've identified the key, it's easy to obtain spares.
If you have a camera, take a photo of the handle and I'll see if I can identify it.

the handles have 'roto' marked on them just next to where the lock barrel is located.
good idea removing one of the locks that still works, and seeing about getting a replacement.
All our neighbours have standard DG windows, ours are tilt'n'turn.

Hiya, like a few on here, i am also a Locksmith, it wouldbe foolish to post any comment to say how do gain ccess to a property, if you have a problem you need to call a Locksmith in your area, there are some okones out there, and not all charge the earth.
My prices would be for emergency entry would be £ 40 - 00. and then depending if ou hada replacement lock or not further charges would be expected.
But yes, the drillingof a lock would only be te last resort to any descent Locksmith, and would only tak a short time, even if there is an anti drill lock.
Do not try nd drill the lock if you dont know what ou are doing as you might damage the lock and the caseing.
