Hi

Im planning on doing a loft conversion what size floor beams should be up there
 
start by telling us the span between the load bearing walls.

are you going to draw up the plans and calculations yourself, or get an engineer to do it?

you'll need them for the Building Control application.

you mean, this is the maximum span between load-bearing walls?
 
It appears that way

there is the front window then 3mtr later there is a wall then 3mtr later there is the back of the house
