Loft Insulation and pasterboarding help

Hi i have just had my loft floor boarded (already had good floor insulation) and a loft ladder put in for extra storage, now i want to seal the room as otherwise it will get very dusty as when i get up in the loft i can actually see the slate tiles, the question is can i insulate between the roof joists and plasterboard over these or is this a no no????
If so would i just use standard plasterboard

Try using the search or even look at similar threads listed at the bottom of this page. Once you have an idea/plan on what you want to do the forum users wil no doubt be happy to help with specifics. It is tiresome for people to repeat themselves when the info is already here in other threads
