Hi

I want to insulate the loft but there are downlights there, can anyone please advise how to insulate in this case.

I found these

These are expensive and I dont know how good they are or if there are any cheaper alternatives which can be used. I am sure we cant just put insulation over the spotlights as they would get hot.

Thanks in advance.

No you can't just put the insulation straight over the downlights due to the obvious risks.

There are diy alternatives to the loft caps though; a suitably sized flower/plant pot for example.
