Hi There, I'm looking for Loft insulation after a Re-roof and the joists to fill are -nominally 560mm wide and 150mm high.
Head is going around in circles looking at Rockwool/cosywool/Thermafleece etc.... Does anyone recognise the type of Loft insulation in the attached photo?
This was fitted in the loft insulation above an extension and is 350 x 150 x 2300 approx. It might be a better option and cleaner if I can find it.
Many Thanks for looking and hoping you can help. Best Wishes

Yeah. I have some in my loft. B&Q and Wickes used to sell it although I've not seen it for years, so maybe not available now?.

Use any that meets the lambda value and price point you like. You don’t have to match to the existing insulation, just roll over the top of it. At 560 pockets, a standard loft roll would be preperforated so you can just snap the whole roll at a suitable width and roll it out. Modern wool is sprayed with a binder that vastly reduces the amount of dust fibres it sheds but I’d still wear a reasonable mask when working with it. Itch wise it doesn’t bother me but whole body boiler/hazmat type suit things are available for a fiver each
