Have a 1970's property, been having some issues with condensation and have installed tile vents and soffit vents. Condensation mostly now under control but am wondering if insulation is a little on the thin side.
Parts of the roof structure do not seem to dry out so before I install more tile vents I want to ensure I am not going down the wrong path.
Currently have repaired whats there to achieve 10 cm glass mineral throughout (while not blocking any soffit vents).
From what I have read I know that too much insulation can cause condensation. I also know I am short of the recommended 30 cm, but there is not much headroom as is.
Half of the attic in the main part of the house is boarded up and I avoid stacking boxes so airflow not adversely affected.
Not sure what you guys would recommend RE insulation?
